“Jared is a must if you have been in an accident. He took the stress out of the situation and made sure I was taken care of, from the repairs to my car to my injuries, he had it covered. My only responsibility was to get better. He was patient with all of my questions and concerns. He worked with the insurance company to provide me with financial security that can be utilized down the road, should I have other injury related issues. I don’t know how anyone could manage the insurance and medical providers without the help of an attorney like Jared.”
No matter how you were injured, I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your case. I will explain your rights under Florida law and answer your questions about the civil justice system. I offer consultations by phone, videoconference or in person. Call now or complete the form below to contact me.
There is never a cost to speak to me about your case. You should never discuss your injury case with an insurance company representative before you have spoken to an attorney. The insurance company won’t look out for your best interests. I will.
House Bill 837 was signed into law in March of 2023 in Florida. Under the new law, the statute of limitations to file a personal injury lawsuit in Florida has been reduced from four years to two years from the date of injury. It has also laid into place a modified comparative negligence system for compensation in personal injury claims. Under this new system, a plaintiff found to be more than 50% at fault for the injury is not eligible to recover damages. Furthermore, the law requires evidence provided in order to establish damages already paid for to reflect the amount actually paid, rather than the initial charge. Your personal injury lawyer can further discuss the law and how it may impact your personal injury case.

You absolutely should hire an attorney if you have been the victim of a car accident in Florida. A car accident can be particularly devastating and can lead to significant losses that carry with them a heavy financial burden. An attorney can help you file a claim or a lawsuit and seek financial compensation from the at-fault party that will help you offset these losses and begin your path to recovery. They will investigate your accident and gather evidence that proves negligence in the at-fault party, often the other driver, and enter into negotiations seeking to reach a settlement that represents the full and fair amount of compensation that you are owed.
